For detailed information, click the appropriate link here > [ Fire ]  [ Gas ]  [ Police ]  [ Heating]  [ Water Leaks ]

Fire Emergencies

  1. DO NOT attempt to extinguish the fire yourself;
  2. Exit the home staying as close to the floor as possible to avoid smoke inhalation;
  3. Once you and your family are safely out of and away from the home, call '911';
  4. DO NOT re-enter the home -  for any reason - until the fire department authorizes you to do so;
  5. Call us at (505) 205-1581.

Gas Emergencies
  1. DO NOT use any device that would create an open flame or any electrical device, including your cell phone, while in the home;
  2. Exit the home immediately;
  3. Once out of and safely away from the home, call the New Mexico Gas Company at (888) 664-2726;

Police Emergencies

In the event of a home invasion, call '911' immediately and:
a. if possible, exit the home through a window or door that is furthest from the point of entry;
b. if not possible, barricade yourself and your family in a room that is furthest from the point of entry and remain away from windows.

For all other police emergencies, dial '911.'

For non-emergencies or to report a crime, call the police department serving your area (in Albuquerque, call (505) 242-2677).

Please be certain to provide us with a copy of any police reports that may result.

Water Leak Emergencies
  1. All of our homes have emergency water shut-off valves. The location of this valve can be found in the 'Things to Know about Your Home' document published to your Tenant Portal. If not, this valve is usually located in the garage area near the hot water heater or an interior wall in a closet opposite the location of the hot water heater. This valve will be operated by a lever or a red or blue knob. Turning this valve (clock-wise) to the 'off' position will shut off all water to the interior of the home;
  2. Call us at (505) 205-1581.
